OK, Mister Donaldson Sir. Now you've done it. Call me out in public, will ya? OK, the game is ON!!!

If anyone (and I mean ANYONE) can bring forth one or two failed or sickly eMacs, I will indeed demonstrate how to get 'er done in a timely, pleasant, and muttering-free manner. First on a Friday session at the CRC, and once at a NPMUG meeting to be announced. Right out in front of Fitz, God, and Everybody.

If there is an individual out there sitting on a bad-capacitor eMac, and you are the FIRST to get it into my hands, I will repair yours for FREE. Not just an email response, but the first one actually into my hands. I live in Pittsburgh's Regent Square neighborhood, and I work at the University of Pittsburgh. If any other individuals need a bad-cap eMac repaired, I will be glad to do it for one single Benjamin, parts included. Can't beat that with a stick.
Dear Mac friends:

Yesterday, we learned "perspective." Marty Swartz successfully completed a bad-capacitor replacement on an eMac logic board in his home workshop, getting a seemingly lost resource into the ComputerWorks store to earn Goodwill money.

Marty commented just how easy it was.

In the other camp is the rest of the world's human population, who, like me, maintain that nothing is easy once you open an eMac. I believe it was Rich Fitzgibbon, who had to replace an eMac hard drive yesterday, who summed the issue nicely with "Easy my ass."

And that is "perspective."

--
Eighty percent of success is showing up. - Woody Allen
http://abbott-street.blogspot.com/
