I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, (the release version- got it a
little early) on my unibody Macbook pro right now-- native, without
bootcamp. I did have to install the bootcamp drivers from my OSX DVD
though, and several of those drivers need work. Also, I am really,
really struggling to get Firewire 800 to work properly-- but that's a
Windows thing mostly. I am hoping for a miracle with that when the new
bootcamp drivers come out.<br>

To geek it up a bit, I also have a dual boot going, with Server 2008 R2
in a VHD. Win7/2008r2 support booting from VHD (the virtual hard disk
file for a virtual machine). On boot my Mac "bongs," goes grey a
second, then shows a black screen/white text where I can choose from
Windows 7 or Server 2008 R2. I couldn't do any of that if I couldn't
install Windows 7 straight onto the laptop, bootcamp wouldn't support
it.<br>

As to the original point about bootcamp supporting Windows 7-- I
wouldn't know, I only use the drivers. ; P<br>
