Thank you all for your responses. Some (like this one!) were humorous, others made great suggestions, such as using an AppleTalk bridge or using the HP driver for the printer and running it with somewhat limited capability under Windows.<BR>
<BR>
The best option is that I am going to hand it to one of the Goodwill volunteers who feels he can directly get it to a new “refurbished” Mac user who would otherwise have no printer because of economic considerations.<BR>

I am thinking the best option is to put it through the Goodwill process for someone with an OS 9 or earlier machine to enjoy but wanted to see if any of you had better advice.<BR>
