[NPMUG] Goodwill CRC update, January 29, 2010

Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rich Fitzgibbon, Tucker Trainor, Bob Wray, Nathan Brentzel and Dave Sevick for joining me at the Goodwill Computer Recycling Center today. 

Throughout history, there have been questions which are asked countless times every day:

• "What are you really thinking, honey?"

• "Are you going to eat those fries?"

• "Why can't Ben just throw it out of bounds?"

Today, we proudly add "Is that ANOTHER bad G4 Tower?" to the list.

Of course, the answer today was "Yes. Yes it is. May I have another?"

We de-manufactured 12 PowerMac G4 Towers today in a seemingly endless parade. Three other Macs joined them.

We also refurbished 10 Macs to bring our all-time total to 2,318.

We still need USB keyboards and mice. I've run out of ways to say it.

Our next scheduled workday is Friday, February 5.
