[NPMUG] Loose thoughts on Schroedinger's Tablet

Happy New Year, everyone!

Wow, if this tablet thing is real, just think of the possibilities!

- It'll be too big to drop into a pitcher of beer. :)

- It'll so big that you would not want to drop it on your foot. First broken
toe will make national news.

- Look for a CMU startup to create a device that will integrate with the
Sudden Motion Sensor and deploy .....

- What clothing maker will be the first to produce pants with a REALLY large
pocket? Perhaps a resurgence of bib overalls?

- Seriously, I will caution early adopters: Do NOT place your Computing
Device Where Someone May Sit. I've seen too many hyper-extended laptops in
my life. Imagine the sound of a $Grand cracking. Yes, just imagine it, you
certainly won't want to HEAR it.

- I am sure that neither the warranty nor AppleCare will cover the event of
a "soft meteor" impact. Or maybe that airbag system will detect an Impending
Impact and take preventative measures.
