[NPMUG] Time Machine Network Drive Setup

Any Time Machine gurus out there?

I recently switched to a Netgear wireless router that supports an  
attached USB drive. I would like to be able to use that USB drive as  
a central point for doing time machine backups from two separate  
machines with wireless connections. However, I know that time machine  
is fairly touchy when it comes to talking to network drives other  
that Apple's own Time Capsules.

That said, I believe that various people have posted solutions to  
that problem. I've seen several from my own searching online, but  
they are somewhat inconsistent and I haven't found one that works  
yet. Can anyone point me to a good working solution for using a  
networked USB drive for time machine backups?
