[NPMUG] ITunes Skipping

Hi All,

Our spinning studio uses an imac to drive the stereo system.  On
random occasions, iTunes just stops playing, like it's buffering
music.  All of the music is local, so there's no network factor.  When
this happens, there's no high CPU or disk activity going on. Disk
Utility doesn't report anything miss.

I'm thinking it's a hard drive going bad, but I figured I'd tap the
collective consciousness here to see if anyone has seen this before.

Please reply directly to me, and I'll summarize if I get some info.
