If you just did a clean install of OSX and you have the Cisco VPN you
may be stuck trying to figure out how to restore your saved
connections in the Cisco VPN client.
Obviously, if you have the original PCF file then there's no worries -
just re-import the connection. But what if you've lost said files?
Go to your backup of the old machine (You did make a full backup
right?) and go to /Volumes/<Backup Volume>/etc/opt/cisco-vpnclient/
Profiles/
Here you'll find all the PCF files for your connections. Just dump
them into the same location on your new machine:
/etc/opt/cisco-vpnclient/Profiles/
You can do this via the Terminal or using the Finder's "Go -> Go to
folder..." command.
