[NPMUG] ALERT : Microsoft Office 2008 issues reported

I've been running Office 2008 on Snow Leopard for about a month with
no problems.
The one thing I've noticed however:
After SP2 for Office 2008 (12.2.0) there's a critical bug in the
software. Microsoft released a patch for it (12.2.1) and after the
patch it works fine. However, sometimes Microsoft AutoUpdate doesn't
detect this patch and will report your 12.2.0 Office as up-to-date.
So check your Office 2008 version and make sure you're at 12.2.1 or
later. If you're at 12.2.0 and the updater says there's no new
software availalble, manually go to www.microsoft.com/mac and download
the 12.2.1 update.
