[NPMUG] ALERT: Office 2008 and Safari crashing under Snow Leopard ....

 From one of my clients tonight :


"Unfortunately, my experience has not been a good one with Office and  
Snow Leopard.  The biggest issue is that Word crashes a lot (80% of  
the time) when I go to save a document...particularly if I did an edit  
and try Save As.  The document will save but the crash occurs and the  
warning message asks if I want to send the info to Microsoft and tells  
me the data may be lost.  So far, no lost data, just very annoying.   
Also, I had Safari crash once and I also got a random black/blue  
screen that wouldn't wake up until I closed the laptop cover and  
reopened."
