Recycle your old electronics
Two separate e-cycling events are coming up. On Saturday, October 17,  
from 9:00 AM until 1:00 PM, a collection at LaSalle Plaza in Cranberry  
run by a partnership including Butler County, Construction Junction,  
eLoop, Global Links, Pennsylvania Resources Council and the Township,  
will collect computers, monitors and laptops to be recycled, with on- 
site data destruction, for a fee of $10. Other items including  
reusable doors, counter tops, plumbing fixtures, insulation, light  
fixtures, paint and certain medical devices will also be accepted. A  
schedule of fees applies for recycling TV sets, printers, and VCRs,

If you drive a little further north, you can recycle computer  
equipment, VCRs, DVD players, power tools, small appliances and air  
conditioners for free on Friday, October 16 and Saturday, October 17  
between 11:00 AM and 8:00 PM at The Pizza and Sub Shop, 210 Main  
Street in Zelienople. No TV sets, please. Call 724-452-7332 for more
