[NPMUG] Saturday Oct 17 ... Live and Silent Auctions ..... Gourmet dinner prior to auctions ...

Dear Apple Folks,
I was asked to post this announcement to the Apple listserve.  And I   
agreed.  Here's why:

The pastors and mission team at this Calvary United Methodist Church  
have helped us get recycled Apples to low income churches for several  
years   ....  Reverend Larry Homitsky also coordinated our Apple User  
Groups efforts to serve The  United Methodist Outreach to Mississippi,  
Louisiana , and Texas over the last several years ( and they are still  
there helping flood victims ).  So I would like to offer to you this  
opportunity to help them for a change.  They are so good at helping  
others in need.
The tickets are $5 to just enter the auctions at 7PM.
The better tickets at $20 are for the 5PM - 7PM dinner ( see gourmet  
menu below ... done by Fabled Table catering company ) ... gets you  
dinner and the auctions.
The ultimate ticket is the $50 for the 4:30PM Victorian House Tour  
with Progressive Hor d'oeuvres  ..... you also get the  Gourmet  
dinner , and the Auctions !

Please help our computer outreach partners at this church ... which is  
now my church, by the way ... that is so gracious at helping others in  
need with our computers.

I estimate that over 350 have been a direct result of the United  
Methodist efforts to help our User Group and Goodwill of Southwestern  
PA.

Auction items presented and described in colorful slideshow with music  
during gourmet dinner
(Apricot Dijon Chicken, Asparagus Tomato, Fall Harvest Salad, Spinach  
Au Gratin, Dirty Smashed Potatoes, complimentary desserts from local  
bakeries )

LIVE and Silent Auctions 7PM - 9PM
  $5 ticket ( for use without dinner or house tours, auctions only  
ticket )


SPECIAL - OPTIONAL HOME TOUR TICKET
  Progressive Hor d'oeuvres from 4:30 to 6PM - $50
(includes house tours of 3 local North Shore Victorian homes)
( includes auction ticket  and gourmet dinner also  )
