[NPMUG] dropped iPhone

The story of Dave's iPhone dropped in beer reminded me of an  
experience I had a couple of weeks ago.  I was traveling in my car,  
going about 50 mph down the Boulevard when something made a funny  
sound on my roof and from my rear view mirror I saw a brief flash of  
color.  Startled, I realized that I forgot my phone on the roof of my  
car and that the sound was my phone flipping off and the flash I saw  
was the phone falling.   Earlier, I had placed the phone on my roof  
while I was loading my car and forgot it there.  I had traveled a few  
miles before it actually fell off.  I was able to make a quick u-turn  
and found the phone.  Luckily, it was Sunday morning and traffic  
wasn't too heavy.  Thanks to my Agent 18 iPhone case, the phone was  
perfectly protected.  No scratches or dents, and it has been working  
well!
This is a first generation iphone, bought on the first day of iphone  
sales, purchased within the first 10 minutes of availability.  I guess  
we were meant to be together a little longer and I am happy for that.
