Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rich Fitzgibbon, John Hamill, Tucker
Trainor, Mark Ruppert and Dave Sevick for joining me at the Goodwill
Computer Recycling Center today.

Today's work just sort of crept up on us. Dave and Mark spent an hour
winding their way through the maze of outgoing Goodwill product that
clogged the space awaiting a truck pickup to bring several cart loads
of iMacs from the basement. They were in excellent condition, ad
before we knew it, we refurbished 22 Macs by the close of the day.

This brings our all-time total to 2,272. We also re-imaged two from
store returns, and de-manufactured just one G3 Tower.

You've probably seen Dave's post of Goodwill's announcement of
acquiring a new, larger location in Pittsburgh's Lawrenceville
neighborhood. The details aren't set in stone, but if they go
thorough, we expect to be moving, yet again, in the later half of
2010. Ironically, the new location is just four blocks from Goodwill
Computer Recycling Center's former Lawrenceville location.

The construction on Carson St. at the Goodwill building is almost
complete. The Carson St., sidewalk in front of the ComputerWorks store
is open again, and the front entrance is again usable.

Our workday schedule for the coming holiday season is this:

Friday, November 27: No
Friday, December 4: Yes
Friday, December 11: No
Friday, December 18: No
Friday, December 25: No
Friday, January 1: No
Friday, January 8: Yes

That's just one workday remaining this year. Hope to see you there!
