[NPMUG] weird warning on disc repair

I see that all the time to and have also been curious.  It always seems to include the acronym SUID.  Started in Leopard and is still there in Snow Leopard permission repair.

I ran disc repair the other day and got a strange notes: 

"Syst/Library/Core has been modified and will not be repaired"
"Syst/Library/Private has been modified and will not be repaired"

I never modified anything ... virus??
