The main thing that gets glossed over is this can happen if (and only if):
* You have jailbroken your iphone
* You have installed ssh
* You have not changed the root password
The rest of us who haven't done that (or changed the password if
you've jailbroken and installed ssh) can avoid whatever hysteria the
technical press wants to whip up.
