This devices gives you a wifi signal wherever you can get a Cell signal.

If you are a road-warrior like me and use an EVDO / mobile broadband  
card that you plug into your laptop to get a wireless signal on the  
road this new device will catch your eye.

All the convenience of EVDO access with none of these hassles

1) Modems draining your laptop's battery life
2) Clunky software to get you connected to the internet
3) USB modems that are just begging to be broken off.
4) Unable to share your internet connection with those around you - or  
having to go through a "semi-complicated" process to setup wireless  
sharing on your mac.

I'll be changing in my EVDO card for one of these babies ASAP.
