Each Friday a group of Pittsburgh area Apple User Group volunteers meet at the Goodwill of Southwestern Pennsylvania building on 2600 East Carson Street , Pittsburgh 15203 ... the South Side. We gather used Apple computers donated to Goodwill each week and fix them or de-manufacture them for proper E-Waste disposal through Goodwill's contractors. The computers that are successfully refurbished get sold in the computer store on the first floor of the building daily .... and at significant discounts to people who would love to own a second-hand computer. Our goals: 

1. Protect the environment through proper disposal of E-Waste parts such as monitors and computers with lead and mercury and cadmium. 

2. Serve the less fortunate of our community with affordable technology to assist in education and employment .
