[NPMUG] batteries

Hi group,

I have a PowerBook G4 circa 2006 OS 10.4.11. I replaced my battery  
and now it's low again. So I have 2 questions. No, I'm not ready for  
a new computer. Not that I have anything against new, I just have to  
finish things on this one and not always be connected.

1. Where is the safest and least expensive place to purchase a battery?

2. Are the batteries actually fresh or are they no longer being made  
and places just try to get rid of the ones they already have?
