As a means to monitor activity secretly on Macs you own in your  
business or with your kids if you want to keep tabs on what they are  
doing.

I certain cases, this has been a very valuable tool for catching  
employees playing rather than working .... and parents for tracking  
what their teens are doing online.

In all cases it can be used as a deterrent if the user knows you are  
accounting for all work done on your computer ... that you actually  
own !

Take it a step further with this case of a mother using her monitoring  
software to catch a teacher and her 14 y/o daughter.   And then being  
able to use that evidence in court.
