[NPMUG] Goodwill CRC update, July 24

Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rich Fitzgibbon, John Hamill, Tucker  
Trainor, Marty Swartz, Scott Baret and Dave Sevick for joining me at  
the Goodwill Computer Recycling Center yesterday.

Today was another milestone as we refurbished our 2,000 Macintosh.  
Tucker Trainor (below) did the honors. It's really swell 450 mhz G4  
Cube with 1.5 gb RAM, a 20 gb hard drive, a CD/DVD-ROM and an AirPort  
B wireless card. We've paired it with a 17-inch Apple ADC Studio  
Display. It's a nice Apple collector's item if you're into that sort  
of thing. The inventory tag at the ComputerWorks store in APL 8362;  
the display is APL 8341.

In all, we refurbished 20 Macs to bring our all-time total to 2,005.  
We also re-imaged another Mac from a store return, and de-manufactured  
seven Macs.
