[NPMUG] Apple Updates

I did my Safari update and the java update.  There are 11 or so other  
updates listed as being available, most of which are for applications  
which I will never use.  Is it necessary to take every update that is  
offered or will I be OK if I choose only those that apply to apps I  
will actually use.
