Dear Mac friends:
Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rich Fitzgibbon, John Hamill, Tucker
Trainor, and Dave Sevick for joining me at the Goodwill Computer
Recycling Center today.
After an idle 4th of July week and starting a recently tuned server,
we resumed refurbishing Macs today in multiple-unit groups.
We did test runs with the new server updates, and all bugs have been
quashed. We refurbished 10 Macs to bring our all-time total to 1,965.
We de-manufactured another 9 Macs.
We'll have another workday next Friday, July 17. We'll resume imaging
in large batches. We left nine iMacs connected to our server imaging
the drives when we left today, and will have those nine ready when we
walk in the door next week.
The Goodwill ComputerWorks store is planning a Mac sale in the near
future. We hope to offer a database on what's available on the
PghMac.com website when details are final. I'll post a message when
it's up on the site.
Hope to see you next week!
