Several times a year I find that my .mac ( now.me ) account name is  
being used to spread spam by spoofing .
This  morning I received two e-mails with a message in a foreign  
language and a link to a site ( I am not dumb enough to click on the  
link ! ) , one of which was to blackapplehost.com .

The sender was shown as :   "<alexmacimac at mac.com>   , my apple e-mail  
account name with opening quote and <added before , then > added after .

Has my .me account been hijacked ?.... or do these miscreants have a  
way of spoofing anyone's e-mail account ?

What should my course of action be ? I know the FBI has a site for  
internet fraud , but probably for more vicious activities than this  .
