[NPMUG] Goodwill CRC update, Jan. 23, 2009

Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rich Fitzgibbon, John Hamill, and  
Tucker Trainor for joining me today at the Goodwill Computer Recycling  
Center for our weekly workday.

Today we finished our second week of concentrating on tray-load CD  
iMacs to fill a Goodwill ComputerWorks store request to have more of  
those models available for sale. We finished enough of those Macs to  
keep the store in stock for these $39.00 models for a couple of months.

We rehabilitated 14 Macs today bringing our all-time total to 1,649.  
Three iMac were de-manufactured, and their usable parts recycled for  
future use.

If you're looking for a Leopard-capable used Mac, the ComptuerWorks  
store has three models in stock:

• one 933 mhz G4 Tower

• one 1.2 ghz G4 iMac

• at least one 1.0 ghz G4 eMac

We'll gather at Goodwill again next Friday, January 30.
