[NPMUG] Goodwill CRC update, Jan. 14

Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, John Hamill, Rich Fitzgibbon, Mary Jo  
Smiley, John Bauerlein and Dave Sevick for joining me for our weekly  
work day at the Goodwill Computer Recycling Center last Friday, Jan. 9.

Now that we're newly-bureaucratized, I can precisely tell you we  
refurbished 12 Macs, bringing our all-time total to 1,625. I can also  
tell you we de-manufactured 16 Macs into recyclable parts along with  
several other miscellaneous items totaling 532.2 pounds.

As you can see, this can quickly turn into a statistics-laden tome so  
I'll keep future reports short and sweet.

We will meet again this Friday, Jan. 16., but we'll begin later than  
usual. Someone should be there by 10:30 a.m., and I'll be joining  
everyone as soon as I get out of the dentist's chair. We normally  
conclude between 4:00 and 4:30, and we usually break for lunch around  
noon.
