[NPMUG] DVD problem

Hi all,

About a year ago we bought a Samsung DVD/VCR combo.  It has a one  
touch set up that makes a DVD from a tape.  Unfortunately it does not  
play on any other machine I've tried including my Mac.

The Mac says the disk is blank.  It is definitely burned as evidenced  
by the color difference on the back.

Do any of youns know the secret of getting the digital information off  
of the disk?
