I bought an MBA in October, and so was eligible for the free Paralles upgrade.

It took a couple of weeks to get it, but they finally processed the
order last week.

I installed it, and it does seem to run OK. However, I don't use the
Windows enough to tell if it's significantly slower than the older
version.

However, I have run into some older C-Dilla encoded CD's I need to
read, and the newest systems they will run on are NT and 95. I can't
generate a virtual machine for either of these with Parallels 4.0;
it'll just do XP and Vista. Bummer! I have to find an old PC with
95 on it to read these disks, as the decoder has to be installed in
the system.

If I find 4.0 does not work well I can re-install the older version.

BTW, I have a couple of older SCSI hard drives I need to wipe, and an
old original 9" Mac. Is there software to do this I can put on a
floppy drive? I can put the drives in an old LC I have to wipe them,
but all my software is too new.
