[NPMUG] Filesharing between Mac & Windows over a network

To turn on Windows Filesharing on the Mac do the following:

1) Go to  Menu > System Preferences
2) In System Preferences click on "Sharing"
3) In the Sharing Preference Pane, select "File Sharing" and then  
click "Options" in the bottom right hand corner.
4) In the dialog box that comes up check the checkbox for "SMB" and  
then select the users you want to make available.
