[NPMUG] Cloning and license issues

Thanks to Charles for pointing me in the right direction and to Apple
support for helping the rest of the way.  Here's the solution if you are
cloning Final Cut Pro workstations and you don't have a site-wide  license
for FCP:   (I have individual licenses that we purchased).

 

After your successful clone go to:

 

(your boot drive)/Library/Application/Support/Pro Apps

 

 

Delete the files:

Pro Apps System ID

Final Cut Studio System ID

 

Start FCP and enter the proper license code for that Mac.
