Bad News:  Freezing rain has been causing traffic problems all across  
the area this morning with icy roadways creating treacherous driving  
conditions.  The Beth Samuel Jewish Center's Annual Chanukah Party has  
been postponed until next Sunday.
Good News:  The bidding for the resort accommodations will be extended  
to next Sunday at the Chanukah Party.  The current high bid for the  
Four Seasons week is $1860.00.  The current high bid for the Interval  
International 2 weeks is at $2000.00.  We will continue to accept bids  
until 11:30 am next Sunday (Dec 20th, 2009).  I will keep bidders  
updated and if you are interested in following the auction let me know  
and I will include you in the updates.

Below is the original announcement from yesterday:


Dear Dave and fellow NPMUGers,
Tomorrow, the Beth Samuel Jewish Center in Ambridge, PA is having  
their Annual Chanukah Party which also has a silent auction.  For the  
third year, I am donating a week at the beautiful Four Seasons Resort  
in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The accommodations are located in the  
exclusive Four Seasons Residence Club, which is like a private hotel  
within a hotel.  The guests will also have full access to the main  
Four Seasons Resort.  In a spectacular desert setting, the location is  
close to many hiking trails, golf, the Grand Canyon, Sedona, and to  
the historic western cities of Scottsdale and Phoenix.  The reserved  
date is from Sunday, October 3rd, 2010 to Sunday, October 10th  
(10/10/10!).  If this date is not suitable, it can be changed for any  
available date in 2010.  Last year, this week went to a bidder for  
only $1,000.00.  This is a great opportunity because it is valued at  
$12,500.  This is for a two bedroom casita.  You can click here to see

In addition, we are also donating two weeks from Interval  
International.  With Interval International, the possibility of  
international destinations are countless.  These two weeks can be used  
as two separate weeks, two consecutive weeks or can be used  
concurrently.  This is also for a two bedroom unit but it depends on  
the location selected and how their rooms are formatted.  This is a  
great opportunity for families or a group of friends wanting to stay  
together.  Booking is based on availability and must be used before  
November 29, 2011.  This is a gold level exchange so there are no  
restriction on accommodation selection.  The Four Seasons Resort  
Residence Club is one the destinations to consider.  But why not try  
somewhere in the Caribbean or Europe?

If you are interested, please submit an absentee bid to my email  
before 9 a.m. tommorow morning (Sunday,Dec 13th). I will bid on your  
behalf.   Phone bidding can also be arranged but an absentee bid is
