What caught my eye ( beyond the new iPod and iTunes 8 )  was the  
growth of the music division within Apple and their long lasting  
effect on the industry.

These number are really noteworthy :

Apple iTunes Store is the #1 music purchase channel in the world.

Ahead of   Walmart #2   Best Buy #3  Amazon #4  Target #5

8,500,000 songs
125,000 podcasts
30,000 TV shows
2,600 movies
3,000 apps for iPhone, Touch
65,000,000 people have credit card accounts at Apple
73.4 % market share of all digital music players

5,000 iPod acessories
90% cars have iPod integration
160,000,000 iPods have been sold

Not too shabby for a company many thought was not going to make it in  
1995.
