[NPMUG] Why Macs support more RAM then PCs

A great article on the limitation of 32bit OSes, the shift in Intel
architecture to Santa Rosa 2 years ago, and why even modern PCs can't
really use 4GB of RAM. (Dave will remember me refusing to buy a first-
gen MacBook Pro, instead opting to "wait for Santa Rosa")

If you've ever met anyone who's got Windows XP running on a machine
with 4GB installed, only to see Windows report a mere 3.2GB, here's why.

The article also really highlights how huge the shift to Snow Leopard
(10.6) is going to be, and how PC buyers are getting ripped off when
they purchase 4GB or more memory.
