Shelly,

If you go to apple.com/support you will find if you search
transferring iTunes purchased items from one computer, especially when
it s Mac to Mac is easy. Among the many ways of doing it:

1)	Using your iPod, if it has sufficient space, with content on the
iPod, plug it into the new machine, under file>Transfer purchases from
iPod. Make sure you authorize the target computer for your iTunes
account first.

2)	Put the computer with content in target mode (start up while
holding the letter T down) then connect it to the destination computer
using a firewire cable. It will show on the new computer as an
external hard drive, select all of the content of iTunes folder and
copy it to the iTunes folder on the destination computer. Authroize
the new computer with the store.

3)	You can have up to 5 computers at a time authorized with your
iTunes account. If you have reached the limit, once a year you can
de-authorize all computers and then re-authorize the ones that you are
currently using.

this is not for public post please.
