[NPMUG] Eudora 6.2 slows to a crawl

After years of relatively issue-free operation, on Friday morning I 
realized that no emails had gone out since Wednesday afternoon.  It 
started with several  messages going out to groups of 40-75 through 
the Bcc:.  They are the same groups I've sent 1-3 messages a month 
for a couple of years.  After deleting them the single address 
messages after them did go through but very, very slowly.   Now only 
single address messages will go through but they take 10-15 seconds - 
compared to almost instantly before this problem.

I have tried a few 5-10 addressee groups and they seem to go through 
- very slowly - but often get stuck on the last one in the group.

Nauticom assured me there is nothing wrong with the account but it 
must be in the way Eudora  is talking to their server.  I have cycled 
the modem and router.  They also said that there were no anti-spam 
rule changes, etc ...

Another note is that my assistant on the same network noticed her 
outgoing messages slowed dramatically.  All incoming messages seem to 
be fine although there I can't tell how long it takes for them to 
come in.

Would an upgrade to 6.2.4 have a chance of helping ?  Other ideas ?  Thanks.
