[NPMUG] Goodwill CRC update, Nov. 7, 2008

Dear Mac friends:

Many thanks to Charlie Hutchens, Rich Fitzgibbon, John Hamill, Tucker  
Trainor and Dave Sevick for joining me today at the Goodwill Computer  
Recycling Center for our weekly work day.

Today, we refurbished 16 Macs to bring our all-time total to 1,596.

We did a quick count, and we have the following Macintoshes in stock.  
They do not include inventory already in Goodwill's ComputerWorks store.

• 20 OS 9 tray-load CD iMacs (233-333 G3)

• 147 OS X.3 slot-load CD iMacs (350-500 mhz G3)

• 25 OS X.3 slot-load CD iMacs (600 mhz G3)

• 58 OS X.3 eMac (700 mhz)

• 25 Graphite G4 Tower (350 mhz and up; OS X.3)

• 3 Blue-and-White G3 Tower (OS 9.2.2)

Know anyone on a budget looking for a computer for holidays? Please  
let them know of the great Macintosh values at Goodwill's  
ComputerWorks store at 2600 East Carson St. on Pittsburgh's South Side.

We'll be taking off this coming Friday, November 14, but we'll be back  
for our usual weekly work day on Friday, November 21.

We'll be off again on Friday, November 28, the day after Thanksgiving.
