Hi!
Try this...
>From the list of radio stations in iTunes, click on the station that you
want and drag it to your desktop. This will create an HTTP "Web
Internet Location" file, on your desktop. Next, double-click on that
HTTP file to open it in Safari. Instead of displaying a web page,
Safari will download a very small file with an extension of .pls. This
is an "Internet Audio Playlist" file and these contain the actual
address that iTunes uses to connect to internet radio. Double-clicking
on that file (the .pls one) will open iTunes and connect directly to the
radio station.
Now, just add the .pls file to your Login Items, in the Accounts System
Preference, and, every time you start your Mac, iTunes will launch and
automatically connect to your favorite radio station! Make sure to not
delete the .pls file (you might want to store it in your Music folder),
or this will not work.
The key thing is to add the .pls file and NOT the http file to your
Login Items. If you mistakenly add the http file, it will launch
Safari, and download the .pls file, every single time.
This all might sound complicated, but, trust me, it is pretty simple. :)
Good luck...have fun!
Take care,
Dave
